Braunston Reservoir. 21st August 1964
This is the middle one of the three reservoirs that were originally dug to maintain the supply of water to mills on the River Leam but later stored water to be pumped back to the top of Braunston Lock Flight. The picture was taken from the towpath bridge over the cut made into the top reservoir. Grid Ref: SP 5418 6591 [GU-071-170].
