Recently added is a set of photos of structures along the line, taken immediately prior to its opening in 1884. The rural nature of much of the line at this time is very evident.

Bertram Baxter did a photographic survey of the tramway in 1928, shortly after it closed, and whilst many of the assets were still in situ.
