'Brickworks Bridge' from the south
Grid Ref: SE 8663 2786 [MW-003-460]. This is a 'new' bridge at the north end of the brickworks north of Broomfleet Landing. It was this brickworks that used the canal till 1950, 50 years after it had been abandoned by Act of Parliament. Wilson Barkworth Cottages can be seen above the centre of the bridge and in the distance above the right hand end is the NER Hull & Selby Line railway bridge.'Brickworks Bridge' from the south

Grid Ref: SE 8745 2563 [MW-001-000]. It is difficult to resolve this picture with the title. There was a moveable bridge across the lock on the canal side but the water beyond should extend in a straight line away, not across the picture. The water the far side of the gate is too narrow and with too steep banks for it to be the Humber and paddle gear does not match those on the other pictures of Weighton Lock.'Sea Locks with Humber'.
