Tees-side (probably) trolleybus "trapped" in neutral section
The trolleybus came to a stand with one boom, probably the nearer one, exactly where the positive and negative wires cross in the points, which is obviously electrically isolated to avoid short-circuiting. Hence the bus can draw no current and, if not provided with emergency batteries, cannot move. For a trailing point, as here, moving the stuck boom to the adjacent wire solves the problem. The same solution can be carried out at a facing point but the bus should only be driven a very short distance as the booms will be on diverging wires.
