PS Carrier at Newhaven 1886. (Ref: 035062)
Built by Scott & Co. Greenock 1858 for service on the Tay. Transferred to Granton 1878. Sold to S L Mason Edinburgh 1882. Acquired by the Isle of Wight Marine Transit Co.1884 which concern was taken over by the LBSCR in 1886. Withdrawn c.1890. Note the rails on the deck for the conveyance of railway vehicles.
