224 Class 4-4-0 No. 224 (Ref: 010896)
Built 1871 the loco gained notoriety as the 'Tay Bridge Engine' after plunging in the river with the bridge collapse. After recovery from the Tay it was rebuilt in 1885 and again in 1897. It is pictured sometime after this latest rebuild.
