Originally LBSCR A1 No. 40 "Brighton" to loco was purchased by the Isle of Wight Central Railway in 1902. where it was numbered 11. In 1930 the Southern Railway named the loco "Newport" It is pictured here at an earlier date at the head of a two coach train in Ventnor West Station (IWV @ 10m 54ch)
