Ellesmere Warehouse, Ellesmere Arm
Built by the estate of the 7th Earl of Bridgewater, probably shortly after the canal was fully opened in 1805. Acquired by the Shropshire Union in 1905. When the Shropshire Union ceased carrying in 1922, the warehouse was let on an annual tenancy to a private company and later sold. All commercial traffic on the canal here had ceased by 1939. It is not known when the warehouse was last used — possibly the late 1980s.
